The Great Outdoors

This was BY FAR my favorite camping trip of the summer {so far}. I'm not sure what made it so fun...they are all fun...maybe it was because we had Kyler and Cade with us FINALLY! They have spent the majority of this summer with their dad, so any time they are with me I am super excited!
We did a little target practice.
All my boys love to shoot their bows....I guess it is never to young to start? Kyler and Cade have been practicing like crazy since they are both archery hunting this year.

I love how Tanner is pulling his cheek back with his string....He concentrates sooo hard...lol
We did a little horse riding.
Well, not me, but the little boys LOVE to go riding with Mike. It's a good thing someone will ride with him because it definetly won't be me. I have a scar on my arm from the last time he took me on a "beginner's" ride. (At least I stayed on my horse though...the rest of the girls that were with us all hit the ground)

Mike did talk Cade into a little ride though....and he actually had fun. But he made sure we knew he was NOT a cowboy and never would be.
We did alot of just hanging out being silly.
That was the best part... just spending time with my kids...without the everyday pressures of life keeping my brain going in all different directions. I love when I can just focus on them and enjoy their company. They are hillarious.....
I love the relationships my boys have with each other. They truly are best friends...and always have been.

They can only put up with my picture taking for so long...and then they get silly!

So we had a little dance party...Cooper can really shake a leg!
He keeps going...
and going.....

and going.....

and going.....

Kyler and Cade joined in with a little country dancing as well....complete with their pants pulled up as high as they can possibly go. I guess that is what cowboys look like to them.
Yikes....

I love making great memories with my family...and I love that my favorite memories are so simple to create. I plan on creating alot more of them!
