We celebrated the 24th of July with just Cooper and Tanner again. {Gosh, I miss my boys!!! Holidays just aren't the same without everyone with us.} We did manage though.....:) and we had a GREAT time despite our missing children.I had never been to the Redmond Parade before. {In fact, I don't think I have ever celebrated the 24th anywhere besides Monroe} I was really confused when I thought the parade was over and everyone started standing up and I realized they were saluting the flag going by AGAIN?? The parade had turned around and was starting over again. Never seen that before....I love small towns!!
We couldn't get the popsicles down fast enough!
After the parade we packed a picnic and headed to the hills in the Jeep. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the mountains and each other!
And this is Cooper demonstrating what could happen if you don't leave the ax alone. You will end up looking like daddy. {who had his finger cut off with an ax when he was a little boy. Ouch}
