There is nothing better than sitting down to a well-loved meal with your family.
It is chaos and comfort all at once!
It pretty much rocks.
I keep thinking I need to document some of my family's favorite recipes.
They can be such a fun part of a family's history. I know I treasure my mother's and my grandmother's recipes...I wish I had more of them!
Someday my own children and grandchildren will feel the same.
Since Conference Weekend is coming up, I thought I would share a favorite breakfast recipe.
It's a tradition to whip up a big breakfast and sit around in our pajama's watching conference while we eat.
This is one of our favorites!
Banana French Toast
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 ripe bananas
dash of salt
2 Tbls honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp orange juice or lemon juice
Mix in a blender until smooth. Pour into a shallow dish. Drench slices of Texas Toast or sliced French Bread on both sides. Fry on buttered skillet.
YUUUMMMM!
