soccer

Soccer Season has begun! This is Cooper's first year....and boy does he ever love it! We have practiced alot at home so he knows how to play, and everyday he asks if he gets to go to soccer practice with the kids.... Which is why I can't understand why he spent much of the game like this...... On the ground....rolling around.....not paying attention. I'm sure it will take a few games before he really "get's it". So until then we will just be entertained by his silly antics. I honestly was laughing so hard I was crying.... If he payed as much attention to the ball as he does to his girlfriend Alyssa....he would be a star. They were seriously soooo cute! They were always running together...and when Cooper would fall, which was alot, Alyssa was there to help him back up and get him going again. I even saw him give her a smootch. yikes.......we are in for it with those two. At least he has great taste! She could not be any cuter! So we have a few things to work on..... Like not tackling other players.....or laying on top of the ball to keep kids away.... Or yelling "I love you Mommy!" every time he runs by me. (even though I secretly LOVE that) Or acting like he is going to die anytime he gets kicked in the leg. This IS soccer afterall. But he DID make a GOAL!!! Even if it was for the other team. We will have to work on that too I guess.

But he loves it! It is going to be a great season I'm sure!!
