So off we went.
Now, our little trailer only has 3 beds....which doesn't quite fit our family anymore. So the older boys volunteered to sleep in the tent, and pitched their tent next to the river.
It was cold! Especially since Cade forgot to do up his window the first night, and woke up to a soaking wet sleeping bag since it had rained and snowed all night.
Yes, it was very cold and wet....but it was so nice to just be outside!

All that rain made the funnest playground for our kids and the fourwheelers! MUD!!!

And the Easter Bunny even found us hidden in the hills of Lost Creek. The boys were so EXCITED! I love how magical everything is to kids....It makes holidays so much fun!

We spent Easter Sunday digging in the mud....

and having an Easter Egg Hunt in the rain!
And wouldn't you know it....the best weather of the weekend came after our trailer was all packed up and we were ready to brave the mud slick roads to get home. Ya, that was fun. I got to drive the Jeep out....Mike followed behind me in the truck and everytime I got stuck or was teetering a little too close to an edge I got out and made him rescue me. Haha....but the kids had a blast driving the fourwheelers all the way from camp to our house. I love that they are big enough to just do their thing...and I know they are responsible enough to be safe.It was a wet muddy weekend...but it was a fun one!
